If you have been a Big White Yeti fan for a long time, you'll remember when we made our candles in colored pint size mason jars. These purple "Improved 100th Anniversary" jars were manufactured between 2013 and 2015. And they were hard to find. When we could find them, we bought as many as we could get our paws on. Now they are nearly impossible to find in unopened cases.

Then we rebranded in 2016 and ended up with a small stash of unopened brand new six-packs of these purple jars. We'd love to see them go to new homes where they will be used or displayed rather than sitting in our studio.

These have been stored in our climate controlled studio for a least the last 5 years. They are in their original shrink wrap, but some cases have small tears or openings in this shrink wrap. If you'd like a photo of the exact case that will be sent to you, please feel free to send us a note before or after purchase.

Care instructions

Let's talk about basic candle care. These apply to all 100% soy candles, not just Yetis.

1. Trim your wick - Before every lighting, trim the wick of your candle to about 1/4'' for a clean beautiful burn. You can use a fancy wick trimmer, a pair of scissors, or even just your fingers (which is what we do 99% of the time).

2. Let it burn- Allow the wax of your candle to melt to the edge of the container every time to ensure a complete and even burn. This prevents tunnelling.

3. Never let a burning candle out of your sight. And don't burn it for more then 4 hours at a time.

4. Let it go- when only 1/4'' of wax remains in the jar, blow it out and clean it out with hot soapy water. Recycle it or repurpose the jar or tin.
