Think speakeasy. There's a cocktail lounge near our home that has been open for 84ish years. The building was originally a house (I think) and it's still mostly set up like a two story house. But the black velvet on the walls and the squeaky vinyl wraparound booths make it feel like you're stepping into a very specific type of cocktail lounge that doesn't really exist anywhere anymore. This lounge is what I think of when I burn Black Currant and Absinthe.

The newest addition to our Boozy Collection is a dark and intriguing cocktail scent. It has delicate notes of saffron, sweet anise, and eucalyptus. Rich black currants and blackberries are at the heart of this blend. And supporting it all is a base of basil, fennel, amber, and dark musk.

No. It's doesn't smell like licorice. Not in the dreaded black Jelly Bean sense of the flavor. It's subtle with twinges of anise and fennel. It's complex and dark and moody with just enough sweetness from the currants and blackberries.



This candle is hand poured and contains 100% soy wax, a cotton wick, and premium fragrance and essential oils.

Soy burns remarkably clean and long- expect this guy to burn for 45-55 hours. And when it’s gone, simply wash out the jar with hot soapy water and use it to hold little treasures.

Scent throw: 4/5. This Yeti offers one of the stronger scent throws in the Boozy Collection. It's still not an "in your face" strong blend as it's 100% soy wax, but it's a delightful mellow addition to your space.

Care instructions

Let's talk about basic candle care. These apply to all 100% soy candles, not just Yetis.

1. Trim your wick - Before every lighting, trim the wick of your candle to about 1/4'' for a clean beautiful burn. You can use a fancy wick trimmer, a pair of scissors, or even just your fingers (which is what we do 99% of the time).

2. Let it burn- Allow the wax of your candle to melt to the edge of the container every time to ensure a complete and even burn. This prevents tunnelling.

3. Never let a burning candle out of your sight. And don't burn it for more then 4 hours at a time.

4. Let it go- when only 1/4'' of wax remains in the jar, blow it out and clean it out with hot soapy water. Recycle it or repurpose the jar or tin.

This is one of my favorite smells! It looks and smells so luxurious. 10/10 will be buying more!
